What is this role about?
This role is about effective recover of outstanding debts in Estonia while maintaining a professional and respectful relationship with customers. It also ensures that all recovery activities comply with legal requirements and internal policies.
- Manage incoming and outgoing communication with debtors
- Negotiate and finalize repayment plans
- Prepare court applications and respond to legal inquiries
- Share case details with partners and authorities
- Document all actions accurately in the system
- Ensure legal and policy compliance
What would ensure success in this role?
- Estonian and Russian languages are a must.
- Critical thinking and problem solving. Able to make smart, ethical, and compliant decisions under pressure and find the best path to resolve a debt, while balancing empathy, business goals, and legal limits.
- Negotiation strategies: Agents must use persuasion and empathy to negotiate payment plans or settlements while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Basic Financial Literacy: Understanding how repayments, interest accrual, and late fees work.
- Understanding of KPIs: Metrics such as recovery rate, call-to-collection ratio, promise-to-pay fulfillment, etc.
- Good Time Management. Keeping track of follow-ups and deadlines.
