Production Trainee

The Production Trainee will assist in operating and monitoring production machinery to ensure efficient manufacturing of battery products. They will help maintain high-quality standards, follow safety protocols, and contribute to continuous process improvements.

 

Responsibilities 

- Production Operations

  • Assist in operating and monitoring production machinery to ensure smooth manufacturing processes.
  • Help assemble components and battery products following production guidelines.
  • Support in conducting tests and inspections to verify product functionality and adherence to quality standards.

 

- Quality Control & Maintenance

  • Aid in performing routine maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns and minimize downtime.
  • Assist in conducting quality checks on products to ensure compliance with established specifications.
  • Help identify and troubleshoot issues in the production process to maintain product quality.

 

- Safety & Compliance

  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment.
  • Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly to ensure workplace safety.
  • Adhere to proper handling procedures for high-voltage (HV) and sensitive components.

 

- Process Improvement & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of production activities, quality control checks, and equipment maintenance.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide feedback to supervisors on potential process optimizations.
  • Approach to process/manufacturing engineering (FMEAS, Control Plan, 5 S, Ishikawa).

 

Minimum qualifications, skills and experience

  • Currently studying a degree in Automotive Engineering, Industrial Engineering or similar.
  • Understanding of electrical, high voltage, and/or battery design requirements.
  • Communication skills and a proactive attitude in a high-pressure environment to ensure the job gets done as requested.
