Your Mission

As a Frontend Engineer working on Bitpanda’s flagship B2C platform, you’ll contribute to the evolution of one of Europe’s leading investing and trading experiences. You’ll build performant, secure, and scalable web experiences that support everything from everyday investing to advanced crypto and trading features.

You’ll help deliver intuitive, high-quality user journeys that make complex financial products feel simple, fast, and trustworthy. Your work will directly impact how millions of users interact with digital assets, while giving you the opportunity to grow your technical expertise and ownership over time.

What you’ll do

• Take ownership of building and optimising key parts of web applications using Angular, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Design and implement scalable, reusable frontend components, contributing to shared libraries and improving existing patterns.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend engineers to shape solutions and deliver high-quality user experiences end-to-end.
• Drive code quality through testing, performance optimisation, and attention to reliability and security across critical user flows.
• Actively participate in code reviews and technical discussions, helping raise the bar and becoming a go-to person for parts of the codebase.

Who you are

• 4+ years of professional web engineering experience, with strong knowledge of Angular, TypeScript, and modern frontend development (React is a plus).
• Experience building and scaling production frontend applications, with exposure to SSR/ISR, state management, caching, and performance optimisation.
• Comfortable owning features end-to-end, from understanding requirements to delivering production-ready solutions.
• Able to navigate ambiguity and translate product and UX requirements into clear, scalable implementations.
• Proactive about improving developer workflows and code quality, including using modern tooling; we provide access to Claude Code to support efficient, high-quality engineering output.
