Your mission

Bitpanda is looking for a QA Intern to support our mission of delivering reliable, secure, and high-performing automated solutions. In this role, you’ll work alongside experienced QA engineers and developers to test new features, identify issues, and ensure the best possible user experience. Your curiosity, attention to detail, and understanding of software quality principles will be key in maintaining Bitpanda’s standards of excellence and innovation.

What you’ll do

• Support our QA in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of products through structured testing and continuous feedback.
• Collaborate closely with developers, Business Analysts and other stakeholders to understand requirements, document test cases, and identify potential quality risks early in the development cycle.
• Design, execute, and maintain test cases across ensuring alignment with product and business objectives.
• Assist in monitoring, reporting, and tracking bugs using standard QA tools and workflows, contributing to efficient issue resolution and product improvements.
• Participate in sprint planning and review meetings, sharing insights to enhance test coverage and drive a culture of quality across teams.

Who you are

• Detail-oriented and proactive, with a keen interest in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products.
• Familiar with software development and testing concepts, including manual testing, test automation, and agile delivery methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to identify, document, and communicate issues clearly.
• Excellent collaborator and communicator, eager to learn from cross-functional teams and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (preferred but not required).
