Your mission

The Product Control Lead will establish and build up the Product Control function within the Assets & Trading team. This is a foundational role with full ownership of designing and implementing processes, controls, and reporting standards to ensure accuracy, transparency, and accountability across P&L and KPIs.

What you’ll do 

• Own daily P&L and KPI processes, including production, reconciliation, variance analysis, and performance reporting.
• Analyse and explain key P&L drivers (hedging, inventory, FX) and provide insights on variances versus expectations.
• Own Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA) reporting, ensuring transparency on execution quality and spreads
• Embed robust controls into the product lifecycle, integrating P&L, KPI considerations, and automated checks.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Trading, Accounting, Risk, ALM, Data, BI, and Engineering to build scalable processes, ensure data accuracy, and resolve breaks.

Who you are 

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; professional certifications (CFA, CPA, ACCA) are a plus.
• 7+ years of experience in product control, financial operations, or middle-office roles within banking, trading, or fintech.
• Solid understanding of P&L, trading products and financial instruments (experience with digital assets/crypto is a strong advantage).
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel/SQL, Python or similar), with the ability to design scalable control processes and dashboards.
• Hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset, capable of setting up a new function from scratch and scaling it into a core business enabler.
