Your mission

Join Bitpanda’s Quality Engineering team as an intern and help ensure the stability, performance, and security of our products. You’ll work hands-on with experienced QA and Software Engineers to help us test cutting-edge financial services used by millions across Europe. This is your chance to learn best practices, gain real-world experience, and contribute to a rapidly growing fintech scale-up.

What you’ll do

• Assist in the design and execution of test plans and test cases for backend applications.
• Help identify, record, and track bugs using tools like Jira and contribute to issue resolution.
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers during the sprint cycle to ensure quality is embedded early.
• Using tools like Postman and manual testing to execute regression, smoke, and exploratory testing cycles before releases.
• Help maintain test documentation and ensure that product requirements are met.
  
  

Who you are

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Curious about software testing and passionate about product quality.
• Some familiarity with QA tools or scripting (e.g., JavaScript, Python, SQL, Postman, Cypress) is a plus, but not required.
• Detail-oriented, with a structured mindset and a desire to learn how complex systems work.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment.
