Your mission
As a Business Continuity Intern, you will play a crucial role in keeping Bitpanda core business processes safe from disruption during crisis events and severe incidents that could affect them, e.g., cyber-attacks, natural catastrophes or pandemics.
This internship is an incredible opportunity to kick-start your career in an exciting world of business continuity by gaining hands-on experience in the rollout of the yearly Business Continuity Management lifecycle activities across our multiple businesses, entities and locations. You will report to the Lead Risk and will be a key member of Bitpanda’s growing Group Risk Management Team.
What you’ll do
- Assist in creating, updating, and maintaining key documentation, including Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) and Business Impact Analyses (BIAs).
- Support in conducting BIA workshops to identify critical business functions and dependencies.
- Ensure all documentation is properly stored, organized, and traceable to support audits and compliance requirements.
- Help maintain active engagement with Business Continuity Managers and Risk Owners, ensuring communication channels remain vibrant, relevant, and updated with the latest resources and information.
Who you are
- Currently pursuing degree in Economics, IT, Business, or a related field
- A proactive and eager-to-learn attitude, with an interest in business continuity, Crisis Management, Information Security and Risk Management.
- Good Competences in using tools like Google Sheets or similar tools such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and an aptitude for learning new systems.
- Basic understanding of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology or a strong willingness to learn, familiarity with blockchain explorers is a plus.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving.
