Michigan Private Chef at Biospan

Location: Cobb Dr Se, Grand Rapids, MI, 49508, United States (with flexibility for major U.S. cities when client is traveling)
Start Date: Sep 29
Day rate: $500 USD per cook day rate (excluding groceries/ingredients)
Cook days: 2 cook days per week


About the Role

Our client, Joshua, is seeking a Private BioChef to provide a full-service, in-home culinary and nutrition experience. This role is focused on delivering high-quality, organic meals aligned with specific dietary requirements and performance goals. The chef will work directly in the client’s home kitchen, preparing meals, managing groceries, and maintaining a clean and organized environment.


Responsibilities

  • Prepare 3 meals per day, 7 days per week, portioned into glass containers.

  • Cook in-home 2x per week, leaving the kitchen spotless after each session.

  • Follow client’s strict dietary guidelines:

    • No seed oils

    • Organic produce throughout

    • Plant-first where sensible

    • Beef pasture-raised/grass-fed

    • Chicken free-range

    • Fish wild-caught or sustainably raised

    • No gluten, dairy, or added sugar

  • Provide optional gut-friendly extras and ferments/snacks from clean, trusted brands.

  • Support client’s goals of physique, performance, and longevity with meals that promote muscle building, leanness, and youthfulness.

  • Coordinate with Biospan for travel arrangements, ensuring continuity of service in other cities.


Requirements

  • Proven experience as a private chef, preferably with health-focused or performance-driven clients.

  • Strong knowledge of organic, clean, and performance-supportive cooking methods.

  • Ability to work discreetly within a client’s home and maintain professionalism.

  • Flexibility to accommodate client’s travel schedule.


Service Details

  • Engagement Schedule: 2 chef days per week (meal prep for full week).

  • Coverage: Breakfast, lunch, dinner, plus snacks as time allows.

  • Travel Service: Available with advance notice

Experience:

  • 3 years minimum chef experience
  • Private chef experience (preferred)
