Role Purpose

Why this role matters

You will be a hands-on engineer within the AI & Data team, responsible for building and deploying AI solutions that support internal processes and decision-making.

Working closely with senior engineers and the AI Transformation Product Manager, you will contribute to turning well-defined business problems into production-ready AI applications.

What success looks like

In your first year, you will:

• Deliver AI use cases from prototype to production with guidance from senior team members
• Build and iterate on LLM-powered applications, agents, and AI workflows used by internal teams
• Contribute to existing AI systems and reusable components across the team
• Help accelerate AI adoption across business functions

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Build and deploy AI-powered applications (LLMs, agents, and automation workflows) using established patterns and guidance
• Develop and maintain the shipped solutions
• improve and iterate the solution
• Work closely with engineers and business stakeholders to support the delivery of AI use cases
• Integrate AI solutions into existing systems via APIs and internal tools
• Test, evaluate, and improve solutions based on usage and feedback
• Contribute to documentation and best practices for AI development within the team

Qualifications & Attributes

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related fields

Experience

• 4–6 years of experience in AI / ML / Data Engineering / Applied AI roles
• Experience contributing to the development and deployment of ML or AI solutions

Technical Skills

Must-haves

• Strong proficiency in Python
• Experience working with LLMs, prompt engineering, or RAG-based applications
• Understanding of APIs, backend systems, and application integration
• Ability to move solutions from prototype to production with guidance

Nice-to-haves

• Exposure to frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar
• Familiarity with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS)
• Experience with cloud platforms (Databricks, GCP, AWS)
• Exposure to Docker, CI/CD
