Role Purpose
- Why this role matters: As Legal Counsel, you will play a key role in providing legal advice to LATAM stakeholders in different legal matters such as commercial (contracts, trademarks, corporate, insurances, etc.), administrative, labor, and Consumer Protection Law (General and Communications Users), among others. Your contributions will help shape Legal, and ultimately the way we disrupt the industry.
- What success looks like: In your first year, you will be supporting Latam stakeholders in contract review process and leading litigation strategy.

Key Responsibilities In this role, you will:
- Lead and coordinate the strategy for responding to administrative proceedings, investigations, and potential sanctions initiated by regulatory and supervisory authorities.
- Manage and oversee legal responses to regulatory information requests, inspections, and audits, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance.
- Lead Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) for the LATAM region, ensuring consistency, risk mitigation, and alignment with business objectives.
- Partner with LATAM stakeholders to drive and streamline the contract review and approval process.
- Provide proactive legal advice and support to business development initiatives, enabling compliant and commercially sound growth.
- Collaborate closely with Customer Experience teams to ensure full compliance with applicable laws and regulations throughout the customer complaints (PQR) process, including the handling of regulatory motions and escalations.
Qualifications & Attributes
We’re seeking someone who embodies the following:
Education: Bachelor’s in law with postgraduate degree in Administrative or Commercial Law.
Experience: 8+ years of professional legal experience, with significant exposure to: Contract drafting, review, and negotiation.
- Telecommunications regulatory frameworks.
- Administrative law and proceedings.
- Engagement with regulatory and supervisory authorities.
- Proven experience handling regulatory investigations, compliance reporting, and legal risk management.
- Experience working in multinational or regional organizations is highly desirable.
Technical Skills:
- Must-haves: Strong knowledge of Telco´s Customer Experience Back Office Operations.
Unique Attributes:
- Thrives in fast-paced environments requiring quick decision-making and tight deadlines.
- Possesses soft skills and business partnering oriented.
