Why this role matters:
We’re looking for an experienced and commercially minded Senior Legal Counsel to join our growing Legal team. You’ll play a key role in shaping Beyond ONE’s legal frameworks and driving sustainable growth across a dynamic, global operation in seven countries.
As a trusted advisor to stakeholders across the business, you'll be hands-on in structuring key deals, managing risk, and building scalable legal foundations that align with our ambitious expansion goals. Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial and technology agreements, including strategic partnerships, supplier contracts, software licensing, and service-level agreements.
- Provide end-to-end legal support on complex corporate transactions, including M&A deals, joint ventures, strategic investments and debt financing.
- Advise cross-functional teams on regulatory, compliance, and governance matters across the tech, telco, and fintech sectors.
- Help design and implement scalable legal processes, frameworks, and policies to support a rapidly evolving business landscape.
- Partner with internal teams — from product to finance — to deliver proactive, solutions-oriented legal counsel that balances commercial objectives with legal integrity.
- Monitor emerging laws, regulatory developments, and industry trends to ensure compliance and enable innovation.
- Build strong, trust-based relationships across a diverse range of stakeholders across markets (GCC and LATAM) and departments.
Qualifications & Attributes:
- Qualified legal professional (Preferably England & Wales & USA & Canada &Australia).
- 5–8 years post-qualification experience (PQE), ideally combining top-tier law firm training with in-house legal experience.
- Prior experience working in the GCC region is strongly preferred.
- Expertise in corporate, commercial law, M&A, debt financing, and contract negotiations.
- Familiarity with legal issues in the tech, telco, or fintech sectors is a strong advantage.
- Sophisticated written and verbal legal communication skills. Proficiency in Arabic and/or Spanish is an advantage.
- A pragmatic business mindset with exceptional stakeholder management skills; able to influence and advise senior leadership confidently.
- Self-driven and agile; capable of working autonomously while contributing to a collaborative, team-first culture.
