 Role Purpose 

As Director of Product Management for Fintech, you'll lead the strategy, roadmap, and implementation of our financial services platforms, focusing on digital wallets, peer-to-peer payments, international remittances, lending, cross-border payments, and regulatory compliance. You'll drive product excellence across our diverse markets while co-managing P&L responsibility for the fintech vertical. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

• Define and execute the product roadmap for digital wallets, payments, remittances, and lending across 7 countries 

• Co-own P&L responsibility for the fintech vertical, including revenue targets and cost optimization 

• Get hands-on with product execution while establishing scalable development processes, with the expectation to build and mentor a high-performing product team as the business grows 

• Ensure regulatory compliance across all markets, collaborating with legal teams on licensing, AML, and KYC requirements 

• Drive data-informed product optimization through analytics, A/B testing, and customer insights 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, legal, commercial) to deliver seamless product experiences 

• Present product strategy and performance to executive leadership and manage key external partnerships

Qualifications & Attributes 

 

Education 

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 

 

Experience 

• 12+ years in product management with 8+ years specifically in the consumer fintech space 

• Proven track record launching and scaling consumer-facing financial products 

• Experience building products across multiple markets, particularly emerging markets 

• Success managing P&L for product verticals with revenue responsibility 

• Experience leading and developing product management teams with a track record of building high-performing teams from the ground up 

• Deep knowledge of digital payments, digital wallets, remittances, and lending products 

• Understanding of financial regulations, compliance requirements, and licensing frameworks 

• Experience with API-driven financial services and third-party integrations 

• Familiarity with payment processors, banking partners, and fintech infrastructure 

• Knowledge of AML, KYC, PCI DSS, and data protection requirements
