Role Purpose
- Why this role matters: This role ensures control, visibility, and optimization of cash, working capital, and financial flows across LATAM, directly enabling business continuity and strategic decision-making. Your contributions will help shape [team/department/project], and ultimately the way we disrupt the market.
- What success looks like: Cash is predictable, vendors are paid on time, receivables are collected faster, and bank and FX operations run smoothly with clear reporting and strong controls.

Key Responsibilities
Cash & Liquidity Management
- Develop and maintain rolling cash flow forecasts (short and long-term).
- Monitor and optimize cash positions across all LATAM entities.
- Ensure daily cash visibility, funding needs, and timely execution of intercompany and external transfers.
- Establish effective cash pooling, sweeping, or intercompany lending structures in coordination with HQ.
Accounts Payable (AP) Ownership
- Fully manage the AP cycle, ensuring timely processing and payment of vendor invoices.
- Implement and enforce clear AP policies, payment terms, and approval workflows.
- Coordinate vendor reconciliations and resolve disputes.
- Monitor and manage aging reports to optimize Days Payable Outstanding (DPO).
- Drive automation of AP through SAP and banking platform integration.
Accounts Receivable (AR) Ownership
- Own the AR cycle and ensure accurate invoicing, timely collections, and aging management.
- Partner with commercial and operations teams to reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
- Lead credit control processes, including customer credit risk reviews and collection strategies.
- Monitor deferred revenue and ensure proper revenue recognition flow in coordination with finance.
Banking & Debt Management
- Lead bank relationship management across all regional partners.
- Handle bank account administration, mandate updates, and KYC coordination.
- Manage debt servicing schedules, compliance reporting, and funding requests.
- Support facility negotiations, renewals, and drawdown planning.
FX & Risk Management
- Identify FX exposures and execute mitigation strategies across LATAM currencies.
- Coordinate with group treasury on hedging strategies, NDFs, and cross-border cash planning.
- Ensure compliance with local central bank FX rules and cash repatriation constraints.
Treasury Systems & Reporting
- Lead SAP S/4HANA Treasury and FI module deployment and optimization.
- Build treasury dashboards to track liquidity, AP/AR performance, FX positions, and debt metrics.
- Standardize and enhance treasury and working capital reporting across LATAM.
Financial Analysis & Business Support
- Analyze trends in cash flow, working capital, and FX to inform strategy.
- Provide financial insight into payment behavior, collection patterns, and vendor management.
- Participate in regional and group-level financial planning and forecasting.
Internal Controls, Audit & Compliance
- Ensure SOX/internal control compliance over treasury and cash operations.
- Prepare documentation for internal and external audits.
- Enforce internal policies and support group-wide governance standards across AP, AR, and treasury.
Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Lead and mentor a regional treasury operations team, including AP/AR staff.
- Act as the primary treasury business partner to commercial, legal, tax, procurement, and IT.
- Support M&A integration, new market entries, and finance transformation projects.
Qualifications & Attributes
We’re seeking someone who embodies the following:
- Bachelor’s in finance, Accounting, Economics; MBA, CFA, or CTP preferred.
- 6–10 years of experience in corporate treasury, with direct ownership of AP/AR functions.
- In-depth understanding of LATAM financial operations and regulatory environment.
- SAP S/4HANA expertise is required, especially in Treasury, FI, and AP/AR modules.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Fluent in English and Spanish; Portuguese is an advantage.
