Role Purpose 

  • Why this role matters: As a core leader in our data organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring data availability, quality, and trust across all our data related platforms and business units. Your work will shape the foundation of our global data platform and fuel our ambition to become an AI-driven company.
  • What success looks like: In your first year, you will lead the refactoring of our existing data platforms, implement scalable sand standard ystems for data quality, observability, and monitoring, and establish cross-regional data governance. These outcomes will enable consistent, reliable data usage across all business units.

Key Responsibilities 

In this role, you will: 

  • Lead the roadmap for data engineering and data platforms — including customer data systems, data warehouse, and data lake — supporting both real-time and batch processing.
    ● Ensure high standards of data quality, observability, monitoring, alerting, and governance across all platforms and regions.
    ● Collaborate closely with Software Engineering and infrastructure, Data Science, and Business Intelligence teams to align on architecture, data needs, and platform capabilities. 
    ● Manage a cross-functional team, driving effective prioritization, budget control, and resource planning. 
    ● Own the regional delivery model and master project roadmap across LATAM and GCC, ensuring timely, scalable, and high-impact delivery. 
    ● Oversee end-to-end implementation of platform refactoring initiatives to support the shift toward a unified, AI-ready ecosystem. 

 

Qualifications & Attributes 

We’re seeking someone who embodies the following: 

  • Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
    Experience: 10+ years of experience in engineering or technology/service leadership roles, ideally within organizations undergoing digital transformation.
    Technical Skills: 
    Must-haves: Proven track record as Head of Data Technologies or engineering (or equivalent), with hands-on leadership of large-scale platform modernization. Experience managing cross-functional data engineering teams, external vendors, and P&L ownership. 
    Nice-to-haves: Exposure to large-scale cross-regional delivery models or regulated industries is a plus. 
    Unique Attributes: 
    ○ Operates well in complex and rapidly evolving environments where multiple tech stacks and siloed systems must be unified. 
    ○ Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to drive alignment across engineering, analytics, and business teams. 
    ○ Delivery-focused mindset with a passion for enabling data-driven decision making in high-impact environments.
