Role Purpose
Why this role matters:
As BI Engineer, you will play a key role in enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization by building scalable BI solutions. Your contributions will help shape our Data & Analytics capabilities, and ultimately the way we disrupt the market.

In your first year, you will design and deploy interactive dashboards using Power BI, Looker, and Qlik, streamline SQL-based ETL pipelines, and ensure the integrity and performance of BI solutions to deliver actionable insights for stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:

Lead the design and development of interactive dashboards and visualizations, ensuring insights are actionable and user-centric.

Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business teams, driving seamless integration of BI solutions with data warehouses and lakes.

Manage SQL query development and ETL pipelines, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and optimal performance.

Develop, optimize, and maintain robust data models tailored to complex business requirements.

Perform data profiling, cleansing, and validation to uphold data integrity standards.

Monitor and troubleshoot BI solution performance, addressing issues related to data latency, visualization accuracy, or system errors.

Document BI processes, data models, and reporting standards to ensure maintainability and scalability.
Qualifications & Attributes
We’re seeking someone who embodies the following:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
4+ years of experience in a BI Engineer or Data Analyst role, preferably within technology-driven or data-centric industries.
Technical Skills:
Must-haves:

Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, Looker, and Qlik.

Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and performance tuning.

Solid programming skills in Python for data manipulation and automation.

Expertise in building and maintaining ETL processes.
Nice-to-haves:

Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Hive.

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
