Role Purpose

As Legal Counsel, you will play a key role in supporting the company’s growth by ensuring legal compliance and mitigating risks. Your contributions will help shape the legal and compliance framework, strengthening the company’s ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes and drive strategic decision-making.

In your first year, you will:
- Establish a proactive legal risk management framework to safeguard the company’s interests.
- Streamline contract negotiations and governance processes to improve efficiency and compliance.
- Strengthen cross-functional collaboration by embedding legal support within key business units.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Provide expert legal advice on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and corporate governance documents, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to proactively address legal risks and support business operations.
- Manage relationships with external counsel to ensure effective representation and cost efficiency.
- Develop and implement legal strategies that align with business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Advise on disputes, HR-related legal issues, and corporate governance, ensuring best practices.
- Facilitate effective communication between the board and shareholders, organizing AGMs and board meetings.
Qualifications & Attributes
We’re seeking someone who embodies the following:
Education:
- Qualified to practice law in KSA.
Experience:
- 3+ years post-qualification experience in corporate and commercial law.
- In-house legal experience within the telecom industry is a strong advantage.
Technical Skills:
- Must-haves:
- Strong legal expertise in contract law, corporate governance, and compliance.
- Experience in negotiating and drafting complex legal documents.
- Nice-to-haves:
- Familiarity with telecom regulations and industry-specific legal challenges.
