Role Purpose
Why this role matters: As Finance and Accounting Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the financial infrastructure of our new entity in Pakistan. Your contributions will help establish robust financial frameworks and ensure compliance with local and international standards, ultimately supporting the company’s regional growth and strategic objectives.

What success looks like: In your first year, you will lead the successful implementation of a local financial operating model, including the adoption of SAP or similar ERP systems, and ensure full compliance with tax and regulatory requirements. You will also establish strong financial reporting processes and build effective banking and auditor relationships to support long-term scalability.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:

• Lead and manage end-to-end financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely reporting through financial statements.

• Collaborate with HQ finance, operations, and technology teams to align workflows and implement robust financial systems.

• Manage tax compliance and regulatory reporting, ensuring full alignment with local laws and international standards.

• Oversee intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and financial planning processes.

• Drive the successful implementation of SAP or a similar ERP, optimizing workflows for compliance and efficiency.

• Liaise with banks, auditors, and tax authorities to manage cash flow, audits, and regulatory interactions.

• Own AR/AP processes, ensuring strong internal controls and efficient cash management.

• Coordinate internal and external audits, driving accuracy, transparency, and compliance across financial functions.

Qualifications & Attributes
We’re seeking someone who embodies the following:

Education:

• Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce.

• ACCA, CPA, or equivalent certification preferred.

Experience:

• 5+ years in accounting or finance, with at least some in a senior or managerial capacity.

• Background in managing financial operations, tax compliance, and reporting in multinational or large organizations.

• Experience in the tech or high-growth sector is a plus.

Technical Skills:
Must-haves:

• Deep knowledge of financial reporting, accounting standards, and local regulatory compliance (e.g., FBR, EOBI, Provident Fund).

• Proficient with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).

• Strong command of intercompany accounting and cash flow management.

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience implementing financial systems, especially SAP.

• Exposure to multinational, cross-border financial operations.

• Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel.
