Role Purpose
Why this role matters: As a Senior Cyber Security Engineer, you will play a key role in safeguarding Beyond ONE’s digital assets and ensuring the security of its IT infrastructure. Your contributions will help shape the cybersecurity function and ultimately the way we protect our business from evolving threats.
What success looks like: In your first year, you will lead the implementation of a robust security operations framework, establish 100% visibility into security operations within the first six months, and drive compliance with industry security standards across all systems and networks.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Lead the implementation and maintenance of security measures to protect computer systems, networks, and data.
- Collaborate with IT teams, management, and external partners to align cybersecurity strategies with business objectives.
- Manage security incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, security audits, and compliance checks.
- Drive the development and enforcement of security policies, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
- Oversee identity and access management, ensuring only authorized users have access to sensitive data and systems.
- Monitor network traffic and system logs to detect and respond to potential security threats.
- Educate employees on cybersecurity best practices through training and awareness programs.
Qualifications & Attributes
We’re seeking someone who embodies the following:
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT or a related field.
Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably in a mobile telecom operator or MVNO.
- 5-10 years of security and network operations experience using global standards such as ITIL and eTOM.
Technical Skills:
- Must-haves: Strong understanding of security infrastructure, vulnerability management, incident response, and security policy development.
- Nice-to-haves: Experience with IAM, VPN, Firewall, IDS/IPS, and cloud security technologies.
Unique Attributes:
- Thrives in high-pressure environments requiring quick decision-making.
- Possesses excellent stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
- Excels with Agile methodologies and project management for large-scale security initiatives.
