Role Purpose

Why this role matters: As an Enterprise Architect, you will play a key role in designing and implementing scalable architectures for fintech platforms, ensuring compliance, security, and alignment with business goals. Your contributions will help shape technology roadmaps, cloud infrastructure, and fintech innovation, ultimately transforming the way we enhance financial operations.

What success looks like: In your first year, you will:

• Develop a comprehensive technology roadmap for core banking systems and payment gateways.
• Lead the migration of legacy fintech systems to modern, scalable solutions.
• Implement best-in-class security and compliance measures, ensuring adherence to PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, and other financial standards.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Lead the development of technology roadmaps for core banking systems and payment gateways.
• Plan and oversee the migration of legacy fintech systems to modern, cloud-native architectures.
• Collaborate with technical teams to establish architectural standards and best practices.
• Mentor and guide engineering teams on emerging fintech technologies and architectural principles.
• Manage the integration of fintech systems, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security.
• Design cloud-native solutions optimized for fintech use cases, including payment gateways and analytics platforms.
• Ensure adherence to financial security and compliance standards such as PCI-DSS and ISO 27001.
• Introduce and evaluate emerging technologies, such as blockchain and AI, to enhance fintech capabilities.
• Engage with stakeholders, including business, product, and technical teams, to align architecture with strategic goals.
• Communicate technology roadmaps and updates effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications & Attributes

We’re seeking someone who embodies the following:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.

Experience:

• 10+ years in enterprise architecture within fintech domains.

Technical Skills:

• Must-haves:
  • Experience with core banking systems and financial platforms.
  • Proficiency in cloud infrastructure and API management.
  • Strong understanding of secure network designs for fintech.
  • Expertise in compliance with financial security standards (PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, etc.).
• Nice-to-haves:
  • Familiarity with blockchain, AI, and fintech analytics tools.

Unique Attributes:

• Thrives in a fast-paced fintech environment requiring quick decision-making.
• Possesses strong leadership and communication skills to align business objectives with technical solutions.
• Excels with cloud-native architectures, security best practices, and emerging fintech trends.

Preferred Certifications:

• TOGAF, PCI-DSS, or equivalent certifications.
