Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance backend systems, ensuring they support millions of users.
• Collaborate with frontend, mobile, product, and design teams to deliver integrated, seamless digital experiences.
• Manage system performance, identifying bottlenecks and implementing optimizations to improve reliability, security, and efficiency.
• Drive the development lifecycle, from requirement analysis and system design to implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Mentor backend engineers, providing technical guidance, career development support, and fostering a culture of innovation.
• Ensure compliance with security best practices in software development, data handling, and system design.
• Stay ahead of industry trends, continuously exploring new technologies to enhance backend systems and processes.

Qualifications & Attributes:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years in backend software development, with at least 2-3 years leading engineering teams.
• Expertise in backend programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, or Node.js.
• Experience with frameworks like Spring Boot, Django, or Express.js.
• Strong background in SQL and NoSQL databases, including database design, optimization, and maintenance.
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and automated testing frameworks.
• Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Familiarity with serverless computing (e.g., AWS Lambda, Azure Functions).
• Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in the software engineering community.
