As Senior Software Engineer I (iOS), you will play a key role in designing and developing high-quality, scalable iOS applications. Your contributions will help shape our mobile engineering team and enhance our digital product offerings, ultimately influencing the way we disrupt the mobile technology space.

In your first year, you will:

• Deliver at least one major feature or app update that improves user experience and performance.
• Optimize application performance by reducing load times and increasing reliability.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to building a high-performing iOS engineering culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture and development of scalable, high-performance iOS applications.
• Collaborate with backend engineers, designers, and product managers to ensure seamless feature integration.
• Manage code quality and performance optimization, ensuring apps are efficient and reliable.
• Review and maintain high coding standards, conducting peer code reviews to ensure best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and technical excellence.
• Contribute to architectural decisions, advocating for best practices in iOS development.
• Ensure security and compliance, implementing secure coding practices.
• Stay updated with emerging iOS technologies and trends to keep our products innovative.

Qualifications & Attributes:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years in iOS development, with a track record of delivering high-quality apps to the App Store.
• Expertise in Swift and deep knowledge of iOS SDK, SwiftUI, and UIKit.
• Strong grasp of architectural patterns like MVVM or Clean Architecture.
• Experience integrating apps with RESTful APIs, third-party SDKs, and cloud services (e.g., Firebase, AWS).
• Proficiency in debugging, performance tuning, and profiling tools for iOS (e.g., Instruments).
• Knowledge of automated testing frameworks (XCTest) and CI/CD pipelines.

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience with cross-platform development (Flutter, React Native).
• Contributions to the iOS open-source community.
• Familiarity with analytics tools like Mixpanel or Firebase Analytics for app performance monitoring.
• Proficiency in Xcode, Fastlane, and Git.
