Senior Software Engineer I - Backend

Key Responsibilities 

• Lead backend development initiatives, ensuring scalable, high-performance systems. 
• Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver impactful solutions. 
• Manage system design and architecture, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability. 
• Optimize backend performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring system stability. 
• Drive best practices for clean, efficient, and well-documented code, conducting code reviews and mentoring engineers. 
• Ensure security compliance, implementing best practices for data protection and system integrity. 

Qualifications & Attributes 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent. 
• 5+ years in backend development, delivering scalable and high-performance solutions. 
• Proven expertise in backend frameworks and technologies such as Java, .NET, or Go. 
• Strong knowledge of SQL & NoSQL databases, query optimization, and schema design. 
• Experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems. 
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. 
• Proficiency in unit, integration, and performance testing frameworks. 
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures and serverless computing. 
• Experience in AI/ML integration within backend systems is a plus.  
• Excels with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
