Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and architecture of scalable and high-performance backend systems, ensuring reliability and efficiency. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend engineers, product managers, and designers, to develop seamless software solutions. 
• Manage backend infrastructure and performance, implementing monitoring, logging, and security best practices. 
• Optimize database performance by designing efficient schemas and ensuring query efficiency. 
• Provide technical leadership, conducting code reviews, mentoring engineers, and fostering a high-quality coding culture. 
• Stay ahead of industry trends, researching and integrating emerging technologies to enhance our backend systems. 

Qualifications & Attributes 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 
• 5+ years of experience in backend software development, with a track record of successfully delivering complex software projects. 
• Expertise in backend programming languages such as Java, .NET or Go.  
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems. 
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). 
• Strong database skills, including SQL and NoSQL database design, optimization, and maintenance. 
• Proficiency in software development best practices, including CI/CD, version control (Git), and automated testing. 
• Experience implementing security best practices and compliance standards. 
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.). 
• Excels with Agile methodologies, ensuring iterative improvements and high-quality software delivery.
