About the Role
As a QA Analyst in our Operations team, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the quality and performance of our mobile applications and backend services. This role involves executing manual tests, conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver outstanding mobile experiences as well as a fully functional backend services.
You will be responsible for preparing and execute test plans, identifying defects, and contributing to the overall enhancement of our digital services. Your expertise will directly impact our commitment to delivering high-quality products that meet user expectations.
What You Will Do
- Manual Testing
- Execute comprehensive manual test cases for mobile applications across various platforms.
- Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution, ensuring timely fixes and updates.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define UAT criteria and conduct testing in real-world scenarios.
- Gather feedback from end-users and stakeholders to validate functionality and usability.
- Quality Assurance
- Design and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure existing features function correctly after updates.
- Collaboration
- Work closely with development teams to communicate defects and suggest improvements.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within QA processes.
- Documentation
- Maintain detailed documentation of testing processes, results, and findings.
- Prepare reports on testing progress, defect status, and overall quality metrics.
What You Will Need
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in manual testing, preferably in mobile applications and backend services.
- Strong understanding of mobile platforms (iOS, Android) and testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with UAT processes and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience with mobile testing tools and frameworks.
- Knowledge of automated testing tools and frameworks is a plus.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies.
