About the Role
As the Commercial Head for Virgin & FRiENDi Mobile Kuwait, you will lead and execute strategies to drive revenue growth and market penetration and enhance key performance indicators across all segments and channels. You will define and implement segment strategies, develop compelling propositions, manage commercial performance, and optimize customer journeys with a strong digital-first focus. Collaborating closely with our shared services teams, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's success in a dynamic market environment.
What You Will Do
- Define and Drive Segment Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to differentiate Virgin & FRiENDi Mobile Kuwait, targeting specific audiences for market growth.
- Innovate Offers and Promotions: Create compelling acquisition, retention, and revenue-generating offers, optimizing the value and profitability of our product portfolio.
- Oversee Channel Development: Manage and enhance sales channels to improve distribution and accessibility, ensuring optimal market reach.
- Enhance Customer Experience: Ensure exceptional customer experiences across all touchpoints to reinforce brand loyalty and satisfaction.
- Manage Product Roadmap: Lead the proposition and product roadmap, making key investment decisions and delivering successful go-to-market plans.
- Drive Commercial Performance: Own and drive commercial performance, responding to market dynamics and collaborating with sales and marketing teams.
- Optimize Digital Sales and Customer Journey: Improve digital sales performance and enhance the end-to-end customer journey with a digital-first approach.
- Strategic Planning and Reporting: Evaluate segment initiatives, report on successes, and inform future strategies while managing strategic planning processes.
What You Will Need
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Marketing, Economics, Business, or Engineering; MBA preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years of extensive commercial experience in the telecom sector, particularly in the prepaid segment.
- Skills:
- Proven track record in driving acquisition, retention, and revenue KPIs in telecom.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing high-performing teams.
- In-depth knowledge of digital transformation, brand strategy, consumer insights, and segmentation.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking for data-driven decision-making.
- Expertise in developing go-to-market strategies and managing product roadmaps.
- Other Qualifications:
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills up to Director level.
- Thorough understanding of the telecom market in Kuwait or other GCC countries.
- Experience in dynamic, agile environments.
- Innovative thinker with adaptability to navigate a fast-evolving telecom landscape.
