Global Senior Director of Digital Acquisition

About the role:

We are seeking a highly strategic and results-driven Global Director Digital Acquisition. As a founding team member in the Digital Acquisition function, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing our digital acquisition strategy across our brands—Virgin Mobile, Friendi Mobile, and Friendi Pay. This position is pivotal in driving growth, increasing market share, and enhancing customer engagement across the region. As part of the global marketing leadership team, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, data-driven acquisition strategies that align with our business goals.

What you will do:

  • Develop and lead the customer acquisition strategy globally, focusing on driving growth and maximizing ROI across our brands.
  • Define and implement KPIs to measure and optimize customer acquisition efforts.
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing customer acquisition teams globally, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with the global and regional marketing leadership teams to ensure alignment of acquisition strategies with broader business and marketing objectives.
  • Establish and build the Customer Acquisition function, including team structure, processes, and tools, from the ground up.
  • Identify and implement best practices for customer acquisition, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with brand teams (Virgin Mobile, Friendi Mobile, Friendi Pay) to develop targeted acquisition campaigns that resonate with the local market and customer segments.
  • Drive synergy between the brands to leverage cross-promotional opportunities and optimize customer acquisition costs.
  • Oversee the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns, including SEM, SEO, paid social, display advertising, and affiliate marketing, to drive customer acquisition.
  • Utilize data and analytics to continuously refine and optimize campaigns for better performance and customer conversion.
  • Partner with product, technology, and sales teams to ensure seamless execution of acquisition initiatives.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Intelligence teams to develop insights that inform acquisition strategies and drive decision-making.
  • Manage the customer acquisition budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing return on investment.
  • Monitor and report on the financial performance of acquisition activities, including forecasting and variance analysis.

What you will need:

  • Master's degree in Marketing or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 12+ years of experience in customer acquisition, digital marketing, or growth marketing, with a strong track record of driving customer growth in the MEA and LATAM region.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably within a technology, telecommunications, or media company.
  • Demonstrated success in building and scaling customer acquisition functions from the ground up.
  • Deep understanding of the MEA & LATAM markets, including consumer behavior, regulatory environments, and competitive landscapes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Experience managing marketing budgets and optimizing ROI.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Passion for innovation, with a keen eye on market trends and customer insights.
