About the Role

As the Territory Go-To-Market (GTM) Specialist for Abu Dhabi, you will lead the development and implementation of comprehensive go-to-market strategies for our UAE mobile financial services proposition, remittance services, and other adjacent services. This role is pivotal in aligning our business objectives with market opportunities, driving customer acquisition and retention, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to continuously enhance our offerings.

What You Will Do

  • Develop GTM Strategies: Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive go-to-market and sales strategies for our fintech products and services, aligning with business objectives and market dynamics.
  • Sales Strategy Execution: Define and execute a sales strategy based on geographic allocation and commission schemes, managing on-ground implementation.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of sales activities, market share, customer satisfaction, and loyalty.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Identify, establish, and execute strategic partnerships with sales partners to serve specific geographical areas. Negotiate partnership agreements, pricing structures, and revenue-sharing models to maximize value.
  • Customer Insights: Gather market feedback, customer insights, and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities for product differentiation and service improvements.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to identify target markets, customer needs, and growth opportunities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product development, technology, operations, legal, and finance teams to ensure alignment and execution of go-to-market strategies.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key performance metrics, market trends, competitive landscape, and actionable insights.

What You Will Need

  • Education: University degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in the Fintech, Remittance, Telecom, or FMCG field, with at least 5 years in sales and customer acquisition roles. Proven track record of success in sales strategy for new tech businesses in the financial industry.
  • Skills:
    • Ability to develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies and commission schemes.
    • Strong experience in on-ground sales and marketing activations for mobile financial services and remittances.
    • Proficiency in market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation.
    • Self-starter with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
    • Proven team leadership and collaboration skills.
    • Strong prioritization and management abilities.
    • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, focusing on listening and questioning.

  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and one of the following languages: Malayalam, Hindi, Urdu, Arabic, or Tagalog.
  • Knowledge and Expertise
    • Knowledge of the Fintech and Remittance industries in the UAE.
    • Practical experience developing and executing customer acquisition strategies, including market segmentation and on-ground executions.
    • Ability to assess market opportunities, evaluate business risks, and make data-driven decisions to drive revenue growth and market share expansion.
    • Experience working with various customer segments across key locations (e.g., labor accommodations, community centers, malls).
