About the Role

As the Commercial Director of eSim, you will be at the forefront of our travel eSim product, leading its market presence and driving its commercial success. This role is crucial in shaping and executing the go-to-market (GTM) strategy, ensuring our product meets and exceeds market expectations. You'll be the strategic brain behind our eSim offerings, combining deep market knowledge with innovative thinking to create an exceptional customer experience and drive revenue growth.

What You Will Do

  • Design and Execute GTM Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive GTM strategies for the travel eSim product to achieve DTC and B2B revenue targets.
  • Budget Management: Oversee budget planning and management, ensuring alignment with sales and revenue goals.
  • Customer Experience: Design and execute strategies to enhance the digital customer experience, making it seamless and enjoyable.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research, analyze trends, and provide actionable insights to inform product and marketing strategies.
  • Partnership Strategy: Direct the partnership team to expand market reach and onboard new travel market partners
  • Global Market Expansion: Drive the rapid and strategic expansion of our travel eSIM product to achieve successful market penetration and establish a strong presence in the global travel market
  • Product Vision: Collaborate closely with the product team to shape the vision for future phases of the travel eSim product.
  • Marketing Collaboration: Work with the marketing team to determine marketing budgets and strategies, balancing potential sales and cost of acquisition.
  • Pricing Strategy: Create and implement competitive pricing strategies that drive sales and maximize profitability.

What You Will Need

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • Experience: At least 3-4 years of experience in the global travel eSim industry, with a background in commercial strategy and execution. At least 5 years of experience in commercial management for adjacent industries such as telecoms or travel.
  • Skills:
    • Strategic thinking and planning
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
    • Proven leadership and team management capabilities
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Other Qualifications: Experience in the travel ecosystem or telecom industry and familiarity with digital services is a plus.
