Product Lead (Member Engagement & Retention)

Before we arrived on the scene, if you wanted really great beauty products, you had to shop at traditional beauty retail - and overpay for all the crazy markups. Now, our members have access to shop from the best-quality beauty and wellness products (from the leading labs in France, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Japan, Korea, etc) and get a bigger piece of the Beauty Pie. 

We are looking for extremely entrepreneurial and experienced Product Leaders who value moving quickly and generating impact, highly skilled at prioritisation and delivering product initiatives across the company, have a proven track record of working in data- and metric- driven product organisations, and can help drive organisational change to become a product-led company. This is a senior and complex role with wide remit and direct responsibility for business results. 

As a Product Lead at Beauty Pie the three broad areas that you will be responsible for are owning the product direction, roadmap, KPIs and delivery for Member Engagement & Retention (which focuses on getting the existing members to discover the full value of Beauty Pie, stay engaged and retain, as well as getting non-members to convert to membership), upskilling & building the wider product team, and establishing & rolling out scalable product processes.

So, what will you be doing?

  • Work closely with a cross-functional team of business stakeholders, engineers, and designers to build products that deliver on Retention-specific KPIs.
  • Display strong leadership, organizational and execution skills.
  • Is the primary driver for identifying significant opportunities, and driving product vision, strategies, and roadmaps in the context of broader organizational strategies and goals.
  • Establish shared vision across the company for Retention by building consensus on strategies and priorities leading to product execution.
  • Guide the teams on how to maximize impact through use of data and research to create effective hypotheses validation and experimentation frameworks prior to full scale build.
  • Incorporate data, research, and market analysis to inform product strategies and roadmaps.
  • Define and analyse metrics that inform the success of products.
  • Lead a team of product managers, engineers, and other cross-functional representatives through the ideation, technical development, and launch of products.
  • Communicate effectively & manage stakeholders across all levels of seniority up to C-suite and Founder level.
  • Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm.
  • Understand Beauty Pie’s strategic and competitive position and deliver products that are aligned with our mission and recognized best in the industry.

  • Extensive experience in Product Management at a product-led company, with proven experience in a leadership role.
  • Experience in a consumer-focused technology or e-commerce company.
  • Data fluency and strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-performing products (measured via business impact generated.)
  • Management experience with direct reports under your guidance and leadership.
  • Experience leading data and ML products is preferred. 
  • Past membership business or customer engagement and retention focus is preferred.
