We are looking for an IT Manager (m/f/d) to have ownership in supporting and scaling our internal systems and infrastructure.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of our internal IT operations, from onboarding and device management to network security and tooling integrations. Your work will directly enable our team to operate efficiently, securely, and with minimal friction.

You will:

• Select, implement, and manage a Mobile Device Management (MDM) system for company devices

• Manage and support company laptops across macOS, Windows, and Linux

• Oversee application access, licensing, and integrations—especially across Google Workspace, Slack, and Confluence

• Set up IT equipment and access for new joiners and support onboarding processes

• Plan and implement internal IT security measures in collaboration with the software infrastructure team

• Purchase, track, and maintain inventory of hardware and software

• Provide responsive IT support to employees and resolve hardware, software, and network issues

• Manage vendor contracts for enterprise tools and oversee access level management

• Maintain and secure our onsite network, including firewall, VPN, and access controls

• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to align on infrastructure and tooling needs

 

You have: 

• 3–5 years of professional experience in IT administration

• Hands-on experience with MDM tools and managing IT inventory

• Strong working knowledge of macOS, Windows, and Linux environments

• Proficiency in Google Workspace Administration

• Familiarity with access management and enterprise tool integrations

• Experience managing hardware and software procurement

• Solid understanding of network concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, WAN/LAN/WLAN)

• Knowledge of security and access concepts and best practices

• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong communication and collaboration skills

• Service-oriented attitude and a willingness to take ownership

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with GDPR and data protection best practices

• Experience with infrastructure or security-related certifications

• Previous experience working in a startup or scale-up environment

• German language skills

• An interest or experience in AI within the workplace
