Software Engineering Team Lead (Supply Chain Ops)

As a Team Lead in Supply Chain Ops, you will manage a team of Backend engineers who are responsible for the backend services that power Supply Chain for Bash. You will be responsible for managing the delivery of engineering projects, managing the growth and development of your team members as well as building and fostering effective teams where individuals are enabled to do their best work.

This is an exciting opportunity as the team is currently in the process of migrating to a mono-repo architecture for Nest.js and a new microservice architecture in Golang.

What Supply Chain does: 

The Supply Chain division is the beating heart of every ecommerce business. 

• Orchestrating the order through the entire lifecycle.
• Pick and Pack solutions for warehouses and hubs.
• Logistics systems (including our own courier BashDelivery).
• Managing customer returns.
• And much much more.

WHO YOU ARE:

Skills you already have:

• Experience leading a team, with a focus on a very high quality output and team enablement.
• A history of writing high quality, scalable, code - we primarily use Golang for our backend services.
• Experience in developing distributed, high transactional and available systems.
• Experience with Kafka and/or Temporal are beneficial.
• In-depth knowledge of databases, data structures, algorithms, scaling architecture.
• Great problem-solving skills.
• A passion for observability and monitoring of the services you build.
• 5 years of relevant work experience.
• 1 year of experience in a team lead position.
• BSc Computer Science or equivalent is encouraged (strong work experience can fill this gap).
