You will work closely with clients on a range of transformation and advisory engagements, including
- Trading systems transformation: Supporting trading landscape design, system selection, implementation, and optimisation for trading platforms, including contributing to software development activities.
- Operating model & business transformation: Supporting the design and implementation of trading operating models across the full commodity lifecycle.
- Digital & trading transformation: Helping clients embed data, analytics, and AI into trading and decision-making processes.
- Risk advisory: Strengthening risk frameworks, governance, and reporting across trading organisations.
Your skills and experience:
We are particularly looking for people with experience or specialism in the following key areas across these sectors:

Candidates should have a clear understanding of trading processes, market dynamics, and industry trends.
- LNG, Gas & Clean Fuels Trading: familiarity with different types of LNG contracts, such as long-term contracts, spot contracts, and short-term agreements. Understanding of pricing mechanisms and benchmarks, including oil-linked pricing, gas-on-gas pricing, and hybrid models.
- Power and Short-Term Power Trading: expertise in different power trading markets (e.g., day-ahead, real-time, bilateral, and over-the-counter markets) and an understanding of the impact that the rise in renewables, intermittency and flexibility is having on the markets.
- Freight and Shipping Trading: expertise in different areas of freight and shipping, including marine freight markets, the supply-demand balance for shipping capacity, key trade routes, the impact of economic cycles on freight rates and familiarity with different types of shipping contracts.
Depending on your level of experience and specialism, you may also bring skills in one or more of the following areas:
- Business analysis, workstream lead, or agile delivery skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Data strategy, architecture, and management skills.
- Understanding of, and ability to adapt to key roles across the Software Development Life Cycle.

In addition to this, we have introduced our 5-Year Recharge benefit which allows all employees an additional 2 weeks of paid leave after 5 years continuous service.
- Flexible Working: We know that the ‘ideal’ work-life balance will vary from person to person and change at different stages of our working lives. To accommodate this, we have implemented a hybrid working policy and introduced more flexibility around taking unpaid leave.
- Corporate Responsibility Days: Our world is important to us, so all our employees get 3 every year to help social and environmental causes and increase our impact on the communities that mean the most to us.
