About the role:
We are looking for a Marketing Insights Lead to join us for this greenfield position. This is an exciting opportunity to build a function from scratch and work closely with senior stakeholders across the business. This role is based in our London office, with the option to work remotely up to two days per week.
Jobs to be Done:
- Working closely with the business you will produce both internal and external reports ranging from daily market updates to weekly news summaries, monthly crypto commentaries, trends, trading patterns and in-depth reports on key financial topics impacting the crypto space
- Your reports will be used to help and support B2C2 clients with advice and advisory regarding go-to-market strategies, competitive environment analyses as well as support trading and risk to help them monitor positions from a fundamental perspective
- Participate in marketing and sales activities including campaigns, communications, sales collateral, and white papers for webinars, clients calls and events
Required Skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance, business or engineering
- Market research role, or other markets-focused role (e.g. sales & trading; economist) on the sell-side (bank, broker, etc.) or on the buy-side (asset manager, hedge fund, etc.). Crypto exposure is preferred
- Competent data analysis experience working with APIs and on-chain data streams as well as platforms like Kaiko, Dune, DeFiLlama, etc.
- Data visualization experience using Excel, Google Sheets and AI tools including Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, etc.
- Experience with developing thought leadership and research reports in-house and with external vendors
- Experience partnering with Marketing, Trading, Legal and Compliance to draft and distribute thought leadership and written market commentary to clients
- Strong understanding of finance, capital markets, trading, and crypto
- Analytical mindset and strong writing and communication skills
