AI Systems Engineer (Agentic Infrastructure)

Your mission: turn AI into a software factory. You’ll orchestrate large language models and agent frameworks so that infrastructure tools and features are generated with almost no manual coding. Reporting to the CEO, you’ll work closely with traders, engineers, and quants, running rapid experiments to push the limits of automation in both software creation and business processes.
What You’ll Do:

Turn business problems into specs: decompose ambiguous tasks, propose simple architectures, define interfaces & success criteria.

Orchestrate LLMs/agents to write software: prompt, tool-call, plan, generate code, run tests, iterate, and ship.

Build the agentic pipeline: prompts, tools, eval suites, telemetry, automated regression checks, and guardrails.

Glue & supervision coding (primary: Python): review/patch generated code, wire services, write deploy & CI scripts.

Integrate with our stack: ClickHouse/SQL, Kafka/pub-sub, Redis/Postgres, Docker, GitHub Actions; schedule with Airflow/Prefect/Mage.

Quality & safety: linters/formatters, type checks, SAST/dep scanning, policy checks, reproducible runs, and rollback plans.

Document & teach: create runnable docs/playbooks so others can operate the pipeline.
Tech You’ll Touch:

Python (must), Rust (nice to have)

LLM/Agent tools: Aider, Cursor, Windsurf, DSPy, LangChain/LlamaIndex, OpenAI/Anthropic APIs, local runtimes (vLLM/Ollama).

Data & Ops: ClickHouse/SQL, Kafka, Airflow/Prefect/Mage, Docker, GitHub Actions, Grafana/Prometheus (and we like zenoh for telemetry).
What We’re Looking For:

Strong CS/math fundamentals; you can read unfamiliar code and reason about architecture/algorithms.

3+ years programming in any language (preferably standout projects/hackathons).

Python proficiency and comfort with terminals, Git, Docker, CI/CD.

Hands-on with LLMs for building software (codegen, tool/function calling, agents, retrieval, unit-test-driven prompting).

Systems thinking & ownership: bias to automate, measure, iterate.

Clear communication with stakeholders.

HFT/market-data familiarity is a plus, not a requirement.
