Position overview

We are looking for a Platform/DevOps Intern to help strengthen the engineering infrastructure that supports reliable development, testing, and deployment across our systems. In this role, you will work on observability, CI/CD improvements, multi-environment deployment automation, and integration testing.

This internship is a strong fit for a candidate interested in infrastructure, developer productivity, and software reliability. You will contribute directly to our goals around release reliability, monitoring, and operational excellence, while gaining experience in a fast-paced engineering environment.


Your mission

  • Support improvements to our observability stack, including Logfire
  • Help improve CI/CD pipelines and multi-environment deployment automation
  • Increase unit, integration and end to end test coverage and strengthen release reliability
  • Contribute to dashboards, monitoring workflows, and infrastructure visibility
  • Work closely with engineers to improve internal tooling and deployment confidence across environments

Key requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s (3rd or 4th year) or Master’s in Computer Science or a related field
  • Strong proficiency in Python
  • Interest in infrastructure, platform engineering, or DevOps
  • Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD concepts, and basic cloud services
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with engineers
  • Comfort working in a dynamic, fast-paced setting

Work model & location expectations

Work model:
On-site. Candidates are expected to be based at our Barcelona, Boston or Toronto office.

Work authorization:
Candidates must have (or be able to obtain) work authorization in one of our office locations.

Relocation support:
Axiomatic will support relocation by covering temporary housing and travel to/from the office location during the transition period.

Hiring manager & interview process

The interview process consists of four stages:

  • Culture interview
  • Technical + Hiring Manager interview (1 hour)
  • Team interview
  • Offer stage

Internship details

You will work directly with and be mentored by a global team of multidisciplinary experts pushing the boundaries of AI-assisted physics formalization.

Duration:
3–6 months (typically starting between June and September, depending on candidate availability)

Future opportunities:
Successful interns may be considered for full-time roles following the internship.
