
Spare Parts Management Manager
Role Overview:
AVATR is looking for a Spare Parts Management Manager (Europe) to join our growing team in Munich. This role will be fully responsible for formulating, implementing and optimizing the overall spare parts strategy, spare parts policies and spare parts purchasing processes for the entire European region, overseeing the planning, inventory, supply and distribution of European spare parts, ensuring the timely supply of spare parts, optimizing inventory structure, controlling spare parts costs, and providing strong support for the smooth operation of AVATR's after-sales service and sales business in the European market.
What You Will Do:
- Overall Spare Parts Strategy & Policy Formulation: Develop the overall spare parts strategy and phased implementation plans for the European region, formulate clear spare parts policies (including spare parts classification, pricing, supply guarantee, return and exchange, inventory management, etc.), and adjust and optimize them in a timely manner according to market changes, after-sales service needs and company development goals.
- Spare Parts Purchasing Process Management: Design, sort out and continuously optimize the European spare parts purchasing process, including demand forecasting, supplier selection, purchasing negotiation, order placement, arrival inspection, payment settlement and other links, standardize purchasing operations, improve purchasing efficiency, and ensure the quality and timely supply of purchased spare parts.
- Spare Parts Inventory Management: Establish and improve the European spare parts inventory management system, formulate reasonable inventory standards and safety stock levels, conduct regular inventory checks and inventory analysis, optimize inventory structure, reduce overstock and shortage risks, and control spare parts inventory costs.
- Spare Parts Supply & Distribution Management: Oversee the supply and distribution of European spare parts, coordinate with logistics partners to formulate reasonable distribution plans, optimize distribution channels, ensure that spare parts are accurately and timely distributed to service centers, dealers and authorized service partners in various regions, and track the distribution progress and feedback.
- Supplier Management: Responsible for the development, assessment and management of European spare parts suppliers, establish a supplier evaluation system, conduct regular supplier quality, price, delivery cycle and service assessment, maintain good cooperative relations with core suppliers, and promote suppliers to continuously improve service quality.
- Cross-departmental Collaboration: Cooperate closely with after-sales service, sales, product, R&D, finance and other departments to coordinate resources, ensure the smooth connection between spare parts management and after-sales maintenance, sales promotion, product update and other links, and meet the needs of each department for spare parts.
- Spare Parts Demand Forecasting: Collect and analyse relevant data (including after-sales maintenance volume, product sales volume, spare parts consumption rules, etc.) in the European region, accurately forecast the demand for various spare parts, provide data support for purchasing plans and inventory allocation, and avoid blind purchasing and inventory backlog.
- Spare Parts Data Management & Analysis: Establish and improve the European spare parts data management system, sort out and analyse spare parts data (including purchasing volume, inventory volume, consumption volume, cost, supply cycle, etc.), form regular spare parts management reports, and provide data support for strategy adjustment and decision-making.
- Compliance Management: Comply with EU and key national (Germany, France, Norway, etc.) spare parts-related laws, regulations, import and export policies and industry standards, ensure that the entire spare parts work (including policies, processes, purchasing, inventory, distribution) is carried out in compliance, and avoid legal and operational risks.
What You Will Bring:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Automotive Engineering, Purchasing Management or related majors; master's degree is preferred.
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience in spare parts management, purchasing management or supply chain management in the automotive industry (preferably new energy vehicles), with experience in the European market is a must.
- Profound understanding of the European automotive spare parts market, familiar with European spare parts policies, import and export rules, industry standards and market supply and demand, and can formulate targeted spare parts strategies and policies.
- Rich experience in spare parts purchasing process optimization, inventory management and supplier management, proficient in spare parts demand forecasting methods, able to effectively control inventory costs and ensure supply stability.
- Strong data sensitivity and analytical ability, proficient in using office software and spare parts management systems for data statistics and analysis, able to extract effective information and put forward targeted optimization suggestions.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, able to effectively cooperate with cross-departmental teams, suppliers and logistics partners, and have good team management ability.
- Familiar with EU and key national automotive spare parts-related laws, regulations and import and export policies, ensuring compliance in spare parts management work.
- Have a strong sense of responsibility and execution ability, be detail-oriented, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and work efficiently under pressure.
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken); proficient in Chinese is a plus.
- Can continuously learn and adapt to market changes and be familiar with the characteristics and management points of new energy vehicle spare parts is preferred.
