Senior Finance Specialist

AVATR Global Design Center is looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Finance Specialist to join our growing team in Munich. This role will be responsible for managing tax compliance and cash flow activities for the Germany entity.

 

What you will do:

 

• Ensure accurate, compliant and timely filing of income tax and VAT returns for Germany company and coordinate with external tax advisors to ensure compliance with local tax regulations.
• Assists with tax audits and respond to inquiries from the tax authorities.
• Assists with transfer pricing documentation and identify tax risks across the scope of responsibility.
• Manage, monitor, and forecast cash flows to ensure sufficient liquidity for operations.
• Prepare cash flow statements and related management reports.
• Review and approve bank payments in compliance with company policies.
• Coordinate with headquarter tax department.

 

 

What you will bring:

 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, tax or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Fluent in English, German and Chinese
• CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification strongly preferred
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience - in a tax specialist or similar role
• Experience working with or within multinational companies and coordinating with global HQs
• Strong knowledge of German tax laws (corporate income tax, VAT) and familiarity with IFRS or group reporting standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work cross-functionally and with international teams
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting
