AVATR Global Design Center is looking for a Social Media Specialist who lives and breathes digital culture, trends, and brand storytelling, someone who can turn scrolls into stares and followers into loyal fans. You’ll work at the intersection of strategy, creativity, and execution, helping to define, develop, and grow AVATR’s online presence. 

You'll be a key player in defining, developing, and amplifying AVATR's online presence. Working at the intersection of strategy, creativity, and execution, you will ensure our design-driven vision is communicated with clarity, consistency, and impact across all digital touchpoints. You will be the voice that guides our online conversations, shaping how we communicate, what we communicate, and when we communicate. 

This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, meticulous content coordination and development, proactive production planning, and insightful performance monitoring. You will serve as a vital link between our internal design and communications teams and our external agency partners, driving collaboration and ensuring seamless execution. 

What you will do:

  • Shape the Social Media Narrative: Define and evolve our social media strategy across key platforms, including Instagram, LinkedIn, WeChat, TikTok, and emerging channels. 
  • Translate Design Vision into Content: Transform our core design philosophy and brand vision into impactful and engaging content plans. 
  • Define the AVATR Voice: Develop channel-specific tone, messaging, and content guidelines that authentically reflect AVATR's brand values and distinctive visual identity. 
  • Drive Collaboration: Partner with our social media agency to develop and execute content calendars, optimize publishing strategies, and achieve ambitious platform growth targets. 
  • Create Compelling Content: Collaborate with our design, marketing, and brand teams to develop and coordinate the creation of original social media content, spanning short-form videos, visually stunning imagery, thought-leadership pieces, and interactive experiences. 
  • Manage Production: Brief and manage photo and video shoots, ensuring the creation of high-quality, on-brand content that elevates the AVATR aesthetic. 
  • Oversee Content Execution: Manage the post-creation process, including copywriting, visual selection, hashtag strategy, and call-to-action development, to maintain consistent quality and brand alignment. 
  • Cultivate Community: Monitor audience engagement and sentiment, collaborating with our agency to manage responses, foster interactions, and build meaningful relationships with our online community. 
  • Identify opportunities for community building, influencer collaborations, and platform-specific activations. 
  • Measure and Optimize: Establish measurable KPIs in partnership with our agency, track performance metrics, and prepare comprehensive monthly reports to inform strategic decisions. 
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Analyze data, gather feedback, and stay ahead of evolving platform trends to optimize content strategies and maximize impact. 
     

What you will bring:

  • Deep Social Media Expertise: 5+ years of experience in social media strategy, management, or digital brand communication, with a proven track record of success. 
  • Agency Management Experience: Experience working with or managing social media or creative agencies, demonstrating the ability to effectively collaborate and drive results. 
  • Platform Mastery: In-depth understanding of major social media platforms and their respective audiences, including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, WeChat, Xiaohongshu, and Baidu. 
  • Creative Visionary: A creative thinker with exceptional aesthetic sensibility and storytelling skills, ideally with experience in design, automotive, or luxury lifestyle brands. 
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Solid writing skills with a knack for crafting sharp captions, engaging post copy, and compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences. 
  • Collaborative Spirit: A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with internal teams and external partners. 
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable strategies. 
  • Passion for Innovation: A genuine passion for design, technology, and the future of mobility, with a desire to contribute to a brand that is pushing boundaries. 
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is essential. Proficiency in other languages is highly desirable.
