Position: Full-time Intern
Duration: 3 months or longer
Location: Munich, Germany
Starting date: ASAP
 
We are looking for a highly motivated intern to join our innovative and dynamic team at AVATR Design Center Munich. If you’re passionate about the automotive industry and eager to contribute to a new, disruptive, and high-end brand, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

As an intern, you will...

  • Develop new and unique interior proposals in sketches, digital sketches, visual 3D models, renderings and other media to illustrate individual design proposals
  • Assist the 3D modeling department in the interpretation of a design into three-dimensional form while incorporating required Engineering parameters of the project
  • Work in a fast paced, dual brand, multiple project, creative environment
  • Responsible for creating presentations and capable of communicating design proposal visually and verbally

We expect you will bring...

  • Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate/graduate degree program in Transportation Design, Industrial Design, or a related field
  • Excellent manual drawing ability, exceptional creativity, generation of new, unique and usable design ideas which reflect the brands
  • Strong organization ability with keen attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and willing to challenge yourself to develop your talents and skillsets
  • Language skills: Fluency in English

  • For students from the EU zone, no work permit is required. During the semester, working hours cannot exceed 20 hours/week, and during the summer and winter breaks, there is no weekly limit on the number of working hours (however, the total number of working hours exceeding 20 hours/week cannot exceed 26 weeks in the whole year) 
  • For international students from outside the European Union, a work permit is already attached to the German student visa at the time of issuance, and there is no need to apply for a separate work permit. It must be noted, however, that working hours for international students are limited to 140 full days (8 hours a day) or 280 half days (4 hours a day) per year. If they exceed this specified time, they must apply for a work permit at the Foreign Affairs Bureau. Chinese students on student visas cannot work more than 140 days per year if they work full-time.
