Business Compliance Apprentice - Level 4
About Autotrader
You’ve probably heard of Autotrader, but do you know what we’re all about?
We’re the UK’s leading automotive marketplace and a heritage brand. We bring together vehicle buyers and sellers to give them real choices. Cars may be what we're best known for but we’re also the place for pretty much everything else on wheels, from e-bikes to caravans.
In the automotive world, change is a constant, that’s why we take our job of untangling the complex car-buying journey very seriously.
At our core, we’re all about people. We go our own way while embracing diversity and celebrating our differences. We dedicate ourselves to the idea that we work better together.
Autotrader is a beautiful, surprising and vibrant place to work. We might not be for everyone, but we could be perfect for you.
About the job
Our apprentices feel supported from the moment they join. Their mentor and our dedicated early careers team are always there for them. And our collaborative, people-first culture means that help and support just come naturally. It brings out the very best in them. It’ll bring the best out in you too.
Our Governance, Risk and Compliance team are looking for a Business Compliance Apprentice to join them.
You might think being a car enthusiast is a must for this role, but that’s not the case! As a Business Compliance Apprentice, you’ll learn how Autotrader follows important rules and why these matter. You’ll develop knowledge and skills to support the team with everyday tasks that help keep customers and Autotrader safe.

With support from experienced colleagues, you’ll build confidence and an understanding of how compliance works in a real workplace. This role is ideal if you enjoy learning, like working with detail, and want to start a career where you help a business do things the right way.
Working in an ever-evolving business will bring many opportunities and challenges. You will learn to manage many queries simultaneously, often reactively, and communicate to provide solutions to stakeholders at all levels.
