Senior Service Technician (m/f/d)

About the Role 

At ARX Robotics, service and operational readiness are essential to delivering reliable autonomous systems in demanding environments. As a Senior Service Technician, you will support the performance, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our systems across field operations, customer deployments, and internal testing environments. 

You will work closely with engineering, production, and operations teams to resolve technical issues, improve system reliability, and ensure valuable field insights are integrated into future product development. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to work at the intersection of robotics, software, electronics, and mechanical systems in a fast-moving defense technology environment. 

What You’ll Build 

• Own advanced diagnostics and root-cause analysis for complex technical issues across ARX products 
• Act as escalation point for service cases involving mechanical, electrical, and software-related failures  
• Lead technical preparation and readiness checks for deployments, demonstrations, and customer missions  
• Translate field findings into structured feedback for engineering, production, and quality teams accurately  
• Support demonstrations, deployments, and operational missions across different environments  
• Collaborate with R&D and production teams to provide structured feedback from field operations  
• Drive improvements in system reliability, maintainability, and operational performance based on recurring service patterns  
• Contribute to scalable service operations by standardizing lessons learned from complex field cases  
• Define and improve service processes for senior-level escalation handling and knowledge transfer operations  
• Develop service documentation, workflows, and operational standards for repeatable high-quality service delivery 

What You Bring 

• Fluency in German and English
• Experience in technical service, maintenance, field support, or troubleshooting within complex technical environments  
• Hands-on understanding of mechanical, electrical, and software-based systems  
• Confidence diagnosing and resolving technical issues independently and under time-sensitive conditions  
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with customers and operational stakeholders  
• A structured and solution-oriented approach to documenting technical work and service activities  
• Flexibility and willingness to travel for field operations, demos, and service missions  
• Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, production, and operations teams  
• A proactive mindset with strong ownership and problem-solving skills  
• A valid driver’s license
