Senior E/E Industrialization Specialist (m/f/d)

Munich

About the Role

We are currently looking for a Senior E/E Industrialization Specialist for our offices in Munich.

In this role, you are the crucial link between engineering, industrialization, production, supply chain, and quality. Your mission is to transform fast-moving prototype development into scalable, repeatable, and production-ready electrical systems and harness solutions for our robotic platforms. You will be the internal champion for manufacturability and quality, ensuring our robotic systems are not only technically brilliant but also buildable, serviceable, and robust in the real world. You will drive the industrialization of our electrical systems, establishing the processes, standards, and workflows required to scale our next-generation robotic platforms from concept to reliable field deployment. This is a key position where you’ll directly influence how our technology comes to life.

What You’ll Build

  • Bridge the gap between engineering and production, turning our prototype electrical systems into scalable, manufacturable products.
  • Develop and refine the manufacturing, integration, and assembly processes for our advanced electrical systems and harnesses.
  • Serve as the key connection between our engineering, production, supply chain, quality, and external supplier teams.
  • Shape our supply chain by co-managing supplier selection, technical alignment, and manufacturing readiness.
  • Establish and enhance our quality framework, including incoming inspection, validation, and end-of-line testing concepts.
  • Champion design for manufacturability (DfM), design for assembly (DfA), serviceability, and robustness across all electrical systems.
  • Lead production ramp-up activities, providing hands-on support for prototype and pre-series builds.
  • Create and own essential production documentation, from work instructions to technical process standards.
  • Investigate and resolve complex production and field-related issues through rigorous root cause analysis.

What You Bring

  • A background in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Proven experience in industrialization, production engineering, or manufacturing for complex electrical systems.
  • A deep understanding of electrical systems, harness integration, and electromechanical design.
  • Experience collaborating with suppliers and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with BOM structures, engineering change management, and production documentation.
  • Knowledge of end-of-line testing, validation, and quality assurance processes.
  • A hands-on, solution-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
  • A structured and pragmatic approach to solving problems in dynamic development environments.
  • Experience in industries like automotive, robotics, aerospace, or defense is a valuable asset.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus.

Please note: You do not need to meet every single requirement to apply. We welcome motivated candidates who are eager to grow into the role and develop their expertise further.
