We develop modular robotic platforms and cutting-edge autonomy software that enhance mobility, protection, and operational effectiveness for military and security forces. As we scale our capabilities and product portfolio, we are looking for exceptional talent to join our mission.
Your Role
As a Senior Engineering Manager, Verification, Validation & Integration, you will take ownership of the verification, validation, integration, and production readiness processes for our Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV) programs. You will lead a cross-functional team and ensure that our systems meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and reliability - from early development through to field deployment.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead and guide a multidisciplinary team covering Verification, Validation & Integration, and production readiness for complete UGV systems - including mechanical, electrical, electronic, and embedded safety software domains
- Define and implement state-of-the-art verification and test methodologies, including Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL), Software-in-the-Loop (SIL), and Processor-in-the-Loop (PIL), as well as physical testing on dedicated test sites and tracks
- Drive a seamless transition from development into series production, ensuring robust and scalable processes are in place
- Ensure full compliance with applicable regulatory frameworks, including the Machinery Directive and CE certification requirements
- Act as the primary escalation point for Third Level Support, providing expert-level analysis and resolution of field issues in close coordination with operations and customer-facing teams
- Apply strong project management discipline to plan, track, and deliver V&V milestones across complex, parallel workstreams
- Collaborate closely with systems engineering, software development, and manufacturing teams to align verification activities with overall program objectives
Your Profile
- Proven experience in a senior technical leadership role within robotics, automotive, defense, or a comparable engineering-intensive industry
- Deep expertise in verification and validation methodologies for complex systems, ideally including both software and hardware domains
- Hands-on experience with HIL, SIL, and/or PIL test environments
- Solid understanding of regulatory and certification requirements, particularly the Machinery Directive and CE marking processes
- Strong leadership and project management capabilities, with a track record of guiding high-performing, multidisciplinary teams
- Experience managing field support escalations and driving root cause analysis in operational environments
- Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus
