About us

Artlogic is a leading technology platform for the art world. Founded in 1989, Artlogic empowers over 6,000 galleries, dealers, and art professionals worldwide to streamline their operations and grow their businesses. The company’s integrated platform combines inventory management, CRM, websites, sales, marketing, and payment tools, everything needed to run a modern and successful art business.

In 2021, Artlogic was acquired by tech investors Cove Hill Partners to accelerate innovation and expand its global reach. Since then, the company has doubled in size, with employees across London, New York, Atlanta, and Cape Town.

Today, Artlogic is entering an exciting new chapter through its merger with ArtCloud, another industry leader in art technology. Together, the two companies are uniting complementary platforms to build the most comprehensive, forward-thinking solution for the art world. This collaboration brings together deep expertise across CRM, sales, marketing, inventory, payments, and AI-powered tools, empowering galleries, artists, and collectors worldwide.

Joining Artlogic means becoming part of a growing global team that is shaping the future of how art is bought, sold, and managed, both online and in person.

About the Role

We're looking for an ambitious, curious and commercially minded AI Chief of Staff to help us rethink how Artlogic operates, using AI, automation and smarter ways of working to make our business more efficient, connected and scalable.

This is a unique opportunity to work closely with our CEO and leadership team, gaining exposure to every part of the business while playing a hands-on role in how we embrace AI and transform the way we work.

We're investing in better systems, more connected data and stronger operational foundations across Artlogic. Now we want to go further, moving beyond simply improving our existing processes to questioning how they should work in an AI-first business.

You'll partner with leaders across the company to understand how their teams operate, identify opportunities to simplify or automate workflows, and turn ideas into practical solutions that deliver measurable improvements.

This isn't a traditional Chief of Staff role, nor is it a purely technical or strategic position. We're looking for someone who enjoys getting into the details, understanding problems, experimenting with technology and making things happen. Someone who can move from a conversation about what's possible to building, testing and implementing something that works.

You don't need to be a software engineer. What matters is your ability to think systematically, understand how businesses operate and confidently use AI tools to solve real problems.

You'll have had significant responsibility and exposure early in your career, perhaps with a focus on digital transformation in the technology space. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills, take on increasing responsibility and grow into broader strategic and operational leadership as Artlogic continues to evolve.

Key Responsibilities

AI Transformation & Automation

  • Work with leaders across Artlogic to understand existing processes, identify inefficiencies and challenge how work is currently done.
  • Identify opportunities to use AI, automation and connected systems to eliminate repetitive tasks, reduce manual effort and improve the way teams operate.
  • Design, build and implement practical AI-powered workflows and automations, using existing tools and emerging technologies.
  • Experiment with AI agents and automation tools, moving from simple workflow improvements towards more sophisticated, cross-system solutions.
  • Take ideas from concept through to working prototypes, testing, implementation and adoption.
  • Introduce appropriate safeguards, controls and human oversight to ensure AI solutions are reliable, secure and fit for purpose.

Operational Excellence & Business Improvement

  • Partner with teams across Customer, R&D and FinOps to identify opportunities for meaningful operational improvement.
  • Look beyond automating existing processes, challenging whether they should be redesigned entirely to make better use of technology.
  • Help connect workflows across our core business systems, including HubSpot, Zendesk, Jira, Chargebee, NetSuite and other platforms.
  • Prioritise opportunities based on their potential to improve productivity, reduce costs, increase capacity and deliver a better customer or employee experience.
  • Work alongside teams to test new approaches, running pilots and parallel processes where appropriate before implementing changes more widely.
  • Build repeatable, scalable ways of working that reduce complexity and enable teams to focus on higher-value activities.

AI Adoption & Continuous Improvement

  • Act as a catalyst for AI adoption across Artlogic, helping teams understand what's possible and building confidence in using new technologies.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to explore ideas, challenge assumptions and turn opportunities into tangible improvements.
  • Encourage a culture of experimentation, curiosity and continuous improvement, where people feel empowered to rethink how they work.
  • Share knowledge, practical examples and successful use cases to help embed AI-first thinking across the business.
  • Stay close to developments in AI and automation, identifying new tools, approaches and capabilities that could create value for Artlogic.

Executive Collaboration & Business Intelligence

  • Work closely with the CEO and executive team to understand business priorities and identify where AI and operational improvements can have the greatest impact.
  • Explore opportunities to bring together information from across our systems to provide clearer, more actionable business intelligence.
  • Help develop smarter ways for leaders to access the information they need, including automated reporting, AI-generated insights and executive briefings.
  • Translate business challenges into practical projects, balancing commercial impact, feasibility and speed of delivery.
  • Track and communicate the impact of improvements, demonstrating the value created through time saved, improved productivity, better decision-making and operational efficiency.

About You

We're open-minded about your background. You might be working in consulting, digital transformation, business operations or an AI-focused role, and looking for an opportunity to move into a business where you can take real ownership and see the impact of your work.

What matters most is your mindset, your ability to solve problems and your enthusiasm for using technology to make businesses work better.

  • Experience in consulting, business operations, digital transformation, process improvement or a similar environment, ideally with a few years of professional experience.
  • Practical experience using AI tools to improve workflows, automate processes or solve operational challenges, whether through client projects or internal initiatives.
  • A strong understanding of how business processes, systems and data connect, with the ability to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
  • Confidence in experimenting with AI and automation tools, building prototypes and translating ideas into working solutions.
  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex challenges and develop practical solutions.
  • Commercial curiosity and judgement, with an understanding of how operational improvements translate into time saved, reduced costs, increased capacity or better business outcomes.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach, with the confidence to take ownership, work independently and make progress without needing everything mapped out.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships, ask thoughtful questions and work effectively with people at all levels.
  • A natural curiosity about how things work, combined with the confidence to challenge existing approaches and explore new possibilities.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where priorities evolve, experimentation is encouraged and not every idea will work first time.
  • A collaborative, low-ego mindset, with the ability to bring people along on a journey of change rather than simply introducing new technology.

You don't need to come from a SaaS business or have a software engineering background. We're more interested in what you've built, how you think and your ability to turn opportunities into action.
