We are looking for a Sr. Strecth Operations Manager to build a new team:
Key responsibilities
- Build Your Team: Lead the recruitment of 7 senior engineers to fill critical positions in Spain.
- Take Technical Command: Become the subject matter expert for Linux platforms, Ceph storage, and OpenStack.
- Mitigate Risks: Ensure that the Telekom migration and the stability of the Stretch platform are not compromised during the transition.
- Design the Future: Establish on-call policies, operational workflows, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation standards.
What we'd like to see
We are looking for a "Player-Coach" who commands the respect of engineers because you have been in the trenches yourself.
- Credible Leadership: 2+ years managing technical teams and the ability to attract top-tier talent within the Spanish market.
- Solid Technical Foundation: 5+ years of real-world experience in large-scale Linux systems administration.
- Cloud & Storage Expert: Essential hands-on experience with Ceph and OpenStack.
- Automation Master: Proficiency in Ansible, Puppet, or Terraform.
- Solution-Oriented Mindset: The ability to transform chaos into scalable, well-documented systems.
