System Administrator  Linux

Join our dynamic team  placed in Madrid or Logroño. We are in search of an experienced Systems Administrator who is eager to explore new challenges and enhance our complex infrastructure systems.

We're managing several Linux-based systems and need your expertise to optimize and innovate both our cloud and on-premise infrastructure.

Your Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain high-availability Linux-based environments, including web, application, and database servers.
• Provide expert-level support to our clients (2nd and 3rd level).
• Enhance automation through tools like Ansible and Terraform, streamlining deployments.
• Administer and optimize Linux-based web and database servers for peak performance.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of experience in maintaining high-availability Linux infrastructure.
• Strong ownership mentality, with a passion for continuous improvement.
• Ability to conduct security reviews.
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken); German is a plus.
• Willingness to participate in on-call duty, with extra compensation for your time.
• Availability to work 3 days a week in our Alcobendas/Logroño offices on-site.

Bonus Points For:

• Experience with HAProxy, Nginx, Apache, and Docker/Keycloak application servers.
• Knowledge of clustered database servers (Percona, Postgres).
• Experience using Ansible and Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab) and container environments like Docker and Kubernetes
