We are creating an exciting a new role for a Finance Systems & Automation Specialist to manage and continuously improve the Group’s financial technology stack. This role sits at the intersection of finance and technology, and is central to our ambition to build a highly automated, scalable finance function. What you’ll be doing

• Own the day-to-day administration and optimisation of NetSuite ERP, including chart of accounts maintenance, sub-ledger configuration, user permissions and system controls
• Manage all the finance systems
• Lead new finance automation and system implementation projects
• Create and maintain up-to-date SOX walkthrough and system documents, process narratives and control matrices in collaboration with the Controls Analyst for all of the core finance systems and that these configurations and access controls remain aligned with a robust control environment
• Identify, scope and implement AI-driven automation across finance workflows, reducing manual effort and improving data quality and speed of close
• Provide first-line systems support and training to the finance team
• Partner with the CFO/Group Financial Controller/Head of FP&A on new system rollouts and integrations
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to maximise the use of automation across all finance processes and reporting

What we’re looking for

We would expect candidates for this role to meet most or all of the following criteria:

• Proven experience administering NetSuite Financials in a finance environment
• Hands-on experience with Zip/Tipalti or a comparable AP automation platform
• Experience of working in a multi-currency environment and a clear understanding of FX
• Genuine interest in and practical experience of AI automation tools applied to finance processes
• Ability to produce clear, professional process documentation and walkthroughs
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Finance background or accounting qualification
