Position Description: 

Arini is looking to hire a Controller to support the Fund Finance team in delivering timely and accurate valuation and financial reporting for the investment vehicles managed by Arini. The successful candidate will join a team based across London and Poland and will play a key role in ensuring robust valuation oversight and reporting processes. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious product controller or fund controller to further develop their skills and broaden their experience within a successful hedge fund environment.

Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

• Review daily internal valuation and P&L reports, compare them with the fund administrator’s reports, and investigate any discrepancies
• Support the coordination of the month-end valuation process
• Perform price verification controls, maintain logs of valuation exceptions and challenges, and assist in preparing Valuation Committee materials
• Perform checks over weekly and month-end NAV packs
• Assist in the preparation of investor reporting

Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, either at another investment fund or a fund administrator.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
• Experience in product control and/or fund accounting, with a strong understanding of valuation and NAV-related controls
• Good understanding of financial instruments from a valuation perspective
• Familiarity with common investment fund structures
• Experience working in globally distributed teams
