What w do

Our collective future is being built in the physical world, but the builders of tomorrow’s technology can no longer rely on yesterday’s tools. At Arena, we’re building the world’s first AI industrial engineer designed to solve the most complex hardware and manufacturing challenges. Our product, Atlas, is built with an understanding of the behavior of physical systems, powered by a superior knowledge of core domains of physics. Paired with its ability to reason about multimodal industrial data, Atlas can test, debug, optimize, and repair physical systems and products in the real world. Arena is already trusted by some of the most advanced industrial companies in the world (AMD, Bausch & Lomb), and we're rapidly already scaling into the defense, automotive, and pharmaceuticals industries, and we’re just getting started.

About the role

Arena is looking for an ambitious and driven Technical Recruiter to help us scale our team. As our second recruiter, you’ll play a key role in scaling the recruiting function from the ground up. You’ll work closely with founders, engineers, and business leaders to find, engage, and hire exceptional talent across technical and non-technical roles.

How you will contribute

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for technical roles (e.g., software engineering, machine learning, hardware) and other high-priority roles across the company
  • Partner directly with leadership to deeply understand hiring needs and define best-in-class recruiting strategies
  • Source and engage top talent through outbound outreach, networking, and referrals
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience that reflects Arena’s culture and values
  • Take on cross-functional projects to operationalize and optimize recruiting as a core function

You have

  • 2–3 years of recruiting or sourcing experience at a top startup, early-stage tech company, or top agency
  • Experience hiring for technical roles (e.g., software engineering); experience hiring across multiple functions is a plus
  • The ability to balance competing priorities and take on operational projects to support the broader talent function as needed
  • Strong communication skills and a track record of building strong partnerships with hiring teams and key stakeholders
  • Passionate about creating a great candidate experience

Requirements

  • Willing to work in our office in NYC 5 days a week.

The base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $135,000 yr. However, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to base salary, we also offer competitive equity and benefits packages.
