Your mission as a AI Team Lead is to drive the strategic development and implementation of AI solutions that align with business objectives and create real impact. You’ll lead a high-performing team, foster cross-functional collaboration, and champion innovation and automation across the organisation.

What you’ll be doing

• Lead and grow a high-performing AI Engineering team, fostering collaboration, aligning technical efforts with business goals, and supporting team development and well-being.
• Translate business needs into AI-driven opportunities by partnering closely with Product Management and ensuring strategic alignment across all initiatives.
• Drive execution of cross-functional AI programs, managing stakeholder expectations, clarifying ownership, and championing structured planning and communication.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities, leveraging industry trends and past experience to deliver scalable, forward-thinking solutions.
• Communicate with clarity and influence across technical and non-technical teams, representing AI capabilities in leadership discussions and contributing to company-wide innovation.

You will thrive in this role if

• You often take the initiative and seek ownership of your work
• You are a proactive problem solver, always seeking innovative solutions and continuously improving processes
• You have worked with LLMs, ideally with strong experience in OpenAI
• You have experience with NodeJs, Javascript, and ideally some experience with Python/AWS services
• You thrive in a collaborative environment, valuing team input and ensuring alignment with project goals
• You are an innovation driver- your finger is on the pulse of the latest in AI.
• You are interested in market research and passionate about what we do here at Appinio.
